Build in Spring Valley
Spring Valley offers many opportunities for housing developers.
Are you an individual or family looking to build? Are you a developer looking to create a housing development? Spring Valley has buildable lots and development land available in several subdivisions including Bucknell Subdivision and Countryside Acres. The Spring Valley EDA can assist in getting your project started and provide information about our Newly Constructed Home Buyer Incentive Package, and connect you to local lenders, utilities and service providers.
Newly Constructed Home Buyer Incentive Package for Countryside Acres
The purpose of this program is to act as a catalyst for new construction of market rate single family homes in the initial ten lots of the Countryside Acres subdivision in Spring Valley. The Economic Development Authority is committed to satisfying the housing needs of Spring Valley. The Economic Development Authority realizes that adequate and affordable housing is needed to foster a successful and growing community.
Applicants may be eligible for up to $3000 to be used for costs associated with their newly constructed home, including closing costs. Eligible applicants include any individual or family who constructs a new home in the initial ten lots of the Countryside Acres subdivision within corporate limits of Spring Valley for the purposes of making it their primary residence. For the purposes of this program, “new home” means any single-family dwelling, including townhomes, (not including mobile homes) built after the date of adoption of this program. “Spec” homes which have not yet been lived in or homesteaded may be included as an eligible site in this program. Upon application approval, incentive funds will be distributed to home buyers after closing occurs, unless funds are to be used for closing costs, in which case a check will be issued to the bank handling the closing.
